hisense px1-pro 4k UST Triple Laser Projector

This is the first UST laser projector offered by Hisense that is geared more towards home theater as opposed to a "tv replacement" and offers variable focus supporting image sizes from 90" - 130".

It is also their first UST that does not come bundled with a screen, allowing the consumer to pair it with the screen of their choice, whether it be UST or not. (see our UST Buyers Guide - screen section)

We here at ProjectorScreen.com are excited to again be selected by Hisense as a launch partner for their exciting new projector, coming off the heels of the launch of their WILDLY successful L9G series (100L9G & 120L9G)

Check out the description and specs below:

Hisense PX1-PRO Review

The Hisense PX1-Pro is a new triple laser projector. And oh boy is it impressive!

The PX1-Pro projector features the award winning TriChroma laser engine just like the L9G laser TV. This new outstanding 4K triple laser projector covers a jaw-dropping 107% of the BT.2020 color space. That’s over 1 billion colors for true to life color accuracy. With a Digital Lens Focus this Hisense laser TV offers a super crisp 4K resolution image.

Loaded With Tech And Style At A Great Low Price

The retail price for the Hisense PX1-Pro is $3,499 making it the most affordable triple laser UST that can also deliver picture quality comparable to some of the more top of the line models like the Samsung LSP9T.

Hisense’s newest projector is a sleek graphite color chassis giving it a modern style that fits in with most media room aesthetics. Behind the stylish fabric covering hides rather powerful 30W Dolby Atmos speakers for immersive sounds and clear speech.

A True RGB Triple Laser TV

The Hisense PX1-Pro UST uses pure red, green and blue lasers to achieve levels of color performance like you’ve only dreamed of.

This RGB laser projector light source offers a solid 2200 lumens of brightness. More than enough for a moderately lit room when paired with an ambient light rejecting screen.

We’ve heard rumors however that Hisense may have under-reported on the lumens output and that the perceived brightness is comparable to that of their other triple laser UST, the super bright 3000 lumen L9G.

It is possible the PX1-Pro is more geared to be a home theater projector rather than a living room projector.

The X-Fusion laser light technology is built to last, providing you up to 25,000 hours of visual entertainment without any loss of performance.

Beautiful 4K Picture

While it might not be as bright as the L9G, the Hisense PX1-Pro still offers an outstanding picture quality with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 8 million pixels of 4K Ultra HD detail. High Dynamic Range with HDR10 support expands color and contrast so you can enjoy an astoundingly vibrant picture with incredible depth and detail. Hisense claims this home theater ultra short throw projector can do a better job of handling black levels and highlights than just about any ultra short throw projector on the market.

The PX1-Pro laser TV is powered by the .47 DLP chipset. The same type of DLP technology found in 9 out of 10 movie theaters to create incredible details with extreme clarity and depth of color for a truly cinematic feel to everything you watch.

The microsecond-level processor on the Hisense PX1-Pro gives you ultra smooth motion handling so the picture quality keeps pace even with fast moving scenes in action films or live sports.

Variable Focus

One of our favorite features on the PX1-Pro is that it has a variable focus allowing you to project an image size from 90 inches all the way to 130 inches! We’ve been asking for this for a while from Hisense, who before now only released fixed focus projectors that were limited to either a 100 inch or 120 inch display. The variable focus feature gives you control of your desired screen size.

All the people with 110 inch ultra short throw projector screens can rejoice! You can finally enjoy the incredible image of a Hisense UST without needing to get a new cinema screen.

The PX1-Pro can project this tremendous image size from just a few inches away from the screen thanks to its solid 0.25:1 throw ratio.

The digital lens focus allows you to adjust the projector's focus mechanism with your remote so there’s no need to leave your seat to fuss with a focus wheel.

Watch Movies And Play Video Games The Way They Were Meant To Be Viewed

The Hisense PX1-Pro features both a filmmaker mode and game mode.

Filmmaker mode disables any motion processing adjustments from the projector settings to ensure you’re seeing the movies exactly as the director intended.

This UST projector automatically detects when a gaming console is the active source and automatically puts the projector into game mode. This picture mode adjusts the projector settings to optimize game performance and lowers latency for lightning fast gaming. In game mode the PX1-Pro has an input lag of about 30ms making it a great choice for all but the most hardcore gamers.

Ready To Create Movie Magic With Connectivity And Integrations

Hisense’s new projector comes with Android TV to bring you great content. Install apps from the Google Play Store and watch your favorite streaming services. Or use Chromecast to mirror your phone or tablet directly to your projector.

The PX1-Pro is smart-home ready with built in Wifi, Bluetooth, and Google Assistant. It also works with Alexa and Control4 and can be easily integrated with your smart home ecosystem.

You can integrate your Hisense laser TV with your wireless multi-channel surround sound system because the PX1-Pro is WiSA ready. You can also use the high speed HDMI port with eARC to pass-thru uncompressed audio to your surround sound system.
