Introducing the Hisense 100L9G Trichroma Laser TV and the Hisense 120L9G Trichroma Laser TV. These 4K ultra short throw projectors are the latest to be released from the brilliant minds at Hisense.

Hisense’s Laser TVs aren’t actually flatscreen televisions in the traditional sense. Instead they’re laser projectors that utilize close to the wall projection technology to throw up a massive 100” or 120” image on the screen. This allows the units to produce a super bright picture making it perfect for well lit environments like your livingroom or den. These UST projectors are made to replace your tiny flatscreen with a gigantic cinema screen.

Before we go further it’s important to know that these two UST projectors are the exact same device, the Hisense L9G. The only difference is that the focus on the 100L9G is fixed to a 100 inch screen size and the 120L9G focus is fixed to a 120 inch screen size. So anything we say about the 100L9G applies to the 120L9G as well.

Both Hisense L9G projectors come bundled with a 100 inch and 120 inch UST projection screen, respectively.

RGB Triple Laser Projector Technology.

The most exciting aspect of the Hisense 100L9G and 120L9G is that they are designed around true Red, Green, Blue trichroma laser technology. This triple laser projector technology helps the L9s deliver a whopping 107% of the BT.2020 Color Space. What that means is that these Laser TVs can display an incredible 90% of the colors recognizable by the human eye.

Hisense’s patented full-color laser engine offers purer color performance which results in incredibly vibrant and accurate colors so you can watch movies and television shows the way the director meant them to look.

The only other commercially available true RGB triple laser ultra short throw is the Samsung LSP9T.

The Included UST Projection Screen

Hisense decided to simplify their customer’s purchases by bundling a specially designed ultra short throw projector screen with every projector. These screens are either 100” or 120” depending on if you order the 100L9G or 120L9G.

The bundled projection screens feature ambient light rejecting technology which only reflects light from the device sitting below the screen. This helps make the laser TV perfect for livingrooms or other rooms with higher levels of ambient light.

These UST screens also help the projector deliver a smoother, more color accurate picture than you’d have if you were just projecting on a wall.

The Aesthetic Design

Another area the Hisense Trichroma Laser TVs differentiate themselves is in the aesthetic look of the device.

The first thing you’ll notice is that the black projector is accented with gold trim, giving the UST projector the luxurious appearance to match the decadent performance of the triple laser. picture.

Decently powerful built-in Harman/Kardon® speakers pop up when turned on and retract when not in use giving the Hisense projector a unique profile.

What we also really like about the design is that it features a smart front facing display that shows what you're watching or listening to. The display features a clock like a VCR which is a neat little feature. It can even show the temperature outside.
