I am using the Formovie Theater 4K UST triple laser projector on the 100“ Formovie Fresnel ALR screen with the latest Apple Tv 4K and am thoroughly impressed by the quality, its sharp and crisp picture.

The projector can handle 80-150“ UST screen sizes and supports 4K and Dolby Vision content.

While the included Bowers & Wilkins speakers are solid for a projector, I am using a pair of the Gen 2 Apple HomePods, paired with the Apple TV box (e.g., music and Airplay works better).

Cons:
Getting the right tension and adjustment for the ALR Fresnel screen is quite a challenge and the suspension system is not great.

I purchased a ForMovie projector screen to pair with my ultra short throw projector following an in depth review of both. I am very happy with the quality of the products and the support I received to complete the assembly and final mounting. I received prompt email response that helped me navigate a difficult mounting situation. I was able to finally mount and operate my projector exactly where I wanted sure to support I received.

I've been using a basic screen I bought off amazon for over eight years. Nothing special, just a basic white screen and has served me well over the years. I couple of years ago I upgraded to the Vava 4K projector. Picture seemed fine and I never thought upgrading the screen could improve the picture quality.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I purchased the Formovie Fresnel screen. After watching a few youtube videos showing how screens designed for UST projectors and having light rejection properties I was sold on giving the Formovie a shot. It was priced affordably and had high marks from other owners. My wife and I took a couple hours to put the screen together and hang it. And one thing we really didn't like was the instructions. Put simply they sucked. There was multiple times were were unsure as the instructions were very unclear. But once it was put together and setup I was blown away how good it looked. In a dark room with a lamp on the screen could be mistaken for an actual TV screen. It's hard to show in pictures, but it really was a night and day difference. Daylight performance is also really good. We use light blocking curtains, but still have ambient light in the room. The screen does a very good job in daily light, but still isn't ideal for direct sunlight. But to be fair even tvs don't work well in the same scenario.

So honestly I should have got a better screen years ago. But if you want to use your UST Projector in a room that sometimes has ambient light or want to have a lamp on sometimes this screen is definitely the answer.

Initially bought the Formovie UST, and was projecting it on my Yellow painted wall in our media room. Two issues, the colors were off and the wall had a slight bow between the 18 inch on center studs. Got the Formovie ALR 100, and wow.... the colors jump off the screen and now I can leave my curtains open....... highly recommend getting this screen assembly was easy and I was able to hang it on the wall by myself.
