After having nothing but problems with my Vividstorm screen (edge curl, horizontal lines, bad motor) and continually getting the runaround from Vividstorm support, I got fed up. Projectorscreen was very helpful in discussing the options with me and recommend the new Spectra rising screen saying that is is better constructed and that the company offers better support if it is ever needed. They were right! The screen is much flatter, doesn't have any of the lines running across the front and the lid actually closes flush with the case. The image is fantastic as well and I hope that all of my problems with rising screens are long in my past.
