NexiGo at CES 2026: Aurora Pro MKIII 4K UST, Nova Mini Portable Projector & Eclipse Laser TV Cabinet
NexiGo has quickly become a brand to watch in the home theater space, and their presence at CES 2026 further solidified their commitment to high-performance laser displays. Our team visited the NexiGo booth to get a first look at their upcoming flagship updates and a surprisingly powerful new portable entry.

NexiGo Nova Mini Portable Laser Projector
Portable projectors often struggle with brightness, but NexiGo aims to change that with the Nova Mini. While most projectors in this compact form factor output around 500 lumens, the Nova Mini delivers 1,200 lumens from its single laser light source.
Equipped with the Scene Adapt engine—technology ported over from NexiGo’s high-end Aurora Pro—the Nova Mini offers a 15,000:1 contrast ratio. It runs on the Google TV operating system, meaning all major streaming apps are built-in without the need for external dongles. Because it runs via USB-C, it can be powered by standard portable battery packs, making it a true go-anywhere theater solution.
For even more flexibility, the Nova Mini features an optional gimbal stand. This allows the compact unit to be easily aimed in any direction, including straight up for high-quality ceiling projection.

The Next Generation: Aurora Pro MKIII UST Projector
Following the success of the MKII, NexiGo teased the upcoming Aurora Pro MKIII. The company is aiming for a brightness target of 3,000 lumens while maintaining the best-in-class contrast that the Aurora series is known for. The MKIII will feature updated chipsets and a more responsive dynamic iris control chip for improved HDR performance.
One of the most exciting announcements for current owners is that NexiGo isn't leaving them behind. A new "Virtual Masking" feature debuting on the MKIII will also be ported back to the Aurora Pro MKII via a future firmware update.

Virtual Masking and the Eclipse System
NexiGo showcased their "Eclipse Laser TV" system, a premium bundle that integrates the Aurora Pro MKIII with a custom-built cabinet and a 120-inch motorized ALR screen. During the demo, we saw the Virtual Masking feature in action. This technology allows users to shift Cinemascope (2.35:1) content to the top or bottom of the 16:9 projection area. By shifting the image, you can eliminate the distracting gray letterbox bars, significantly improving the perceived contrast of wide-screen movies.
Go Big with the 150-Inch Fresnel ALR Screen
For those with large living spaces, NexiGo introduced a massive 150-inch Fresnel ALR screen. This high-gain material (1.5 gain) is designed to magnify the brightness of the projector by 1.5 times, allowing for a vibrant, punchy image even in rooms flooded with ambient light. Because Fresnel screens concentrate light toward the viewer, it is ideal for setups where the seating is positioned directly in front of the screen within the width of the display.
Availability
NexiGo continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in both the portable and ultra-short-throw categories. We expect to have the Nova Mini and the Aurora Pro MKIII available for our customers later this year, with final pricing and launch details coming soon.
