Hisense Announces PX4-PRO: Next Gen UST Projector Featuring 3500 Lumens & Advanced IRIS Lens System
Building on the award-winning legacy of the PX3-PRO, Hisense has officially announced its newest premium offering in the Laser Cinema category: the PX4-PRO Ultra Short Throw (UST) Projector. Our team was on the ground at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where we had the chance to see the PX4-PRO in action and speak directly with the Hisense team about what makes this 2026 flagship tick.
The PX4-PRO is designed for maximum impact, now capable of projecting high-fidelity 4K images up to a massive 200-inch screen size. Thanks to an improved 0.20 throw ratio, it can achieve these massive scales while sitting even closer to the wall than previous models.

Advanced IRIS Lens System and 3,500 Lumens
The standout technical addition to the PX4-PRO is the integration of Hisense’s new IRIS lens system. This hardware-based aperture automatically adjusts to the on-screen content and ambient lighting conditions in real-time. By dynamically managing the light path, the system is expected to achieve a contrast ratio in the range of 6,000:1, ensuring deep blacks and crisp highlights—a significant leap forward for the PX series.
To complement this contrast management, the PX4-PRO delivers 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness. This ensures vibrant colors and improved performance for HDR content and daytime viewing, providing the horsepower needed to light up a 200-inch screen.
TriChroma Laser Engine and IMAX Enhanced Certification
At the core of the PX4-PRO is Hisense’s proprietary TriChroma triple laser light engine. This pure RGB laser source allows the projector to cover an expansive color gamut, reaching 110% of the BT.2020 color space. This technical benchmark for color accuracy and saturation exceeds most standard display technologies. The PX4-PRO also carries IMAX Enhanced certification, ensuring it meets strict performance standards for color, contrast, and clarity as intended by filmmakers.
World-First Gaming Features & V homeOS Integration
In a major platform update, Hisense has transitioned to V homeOS. This new interface introduces the Xbox App directly into the projector, allowing users to stream hundreds of titles via Xbox Cloud Gaming without needing a console.
For gamers, the PX4-PRO is the world’s first projector with FreeSync VRR support. Building on the low-latency standards of previous models, it is designed for ultra-responsive, tear-free play. The system boasts a 1ms response time at 2K/240Hz while maintaining support for 4K/120Hz inputs for high-fidelity motion. Additionally, the new chassis includes improved built-in sound to match the upgraded visuals.
Availability
Following its official showcase at CES 2026, the Hisense PX4-PRO is positioned as the premium successor to the PX3-PRO. While final pricing and specific retail launch dates are being finalized, we expect this flagship to be available later this year.
