Hisense Unveils XR10 Flagship Lifestyle Laser Projector: 6,000 Lumens and Industry First Liquid Cooling
Building on its reputation for laser innovation, Hisense has introduced the XR10, a new flagship model that represents the "Apex" of the company’s lifestyle projector lineup. Our team was on the ground at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where we had the chance to see the XR10 in person and speak with the Hisense team about the unique engineering that sets this high-output unit apart.
The XR10 is designed for maximum versatility, offering the massive brightness needed for well-lit multi-purpose rooms while maintaining the precision required for a high-end dedicated theater. It is capable of projecting an image up to a staggering 300 inches, providing a truly cinematic scale.
Industry-First Micro-Channel Liquid Cooling
A standout technical achievement for the XR10 is the integration of an industry-first micro-channel liquid cooling system. To handle the heat generated by such a high-output laser engine, Hisense moved away from traditional loud internal fans in favor of a radiator-style liquid system. This fully sealed design allows the XR10 to operate almost silently, even when running at its peak brightness levels.
Unprecedented 6,000 Lumens and Dynamic Contrast
The XR10 delivers a record-setting 6,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, making it one of the most powerful lifestyle projectors ever released. To ensure that this high output doesn't compromise black levels, Hisense equipped it with a hardware-based IRIS lens system. This system dynamically manages the light path to achieve a 6,000:1 contrast ratio, ensuring that HDR content retains both brilliant highlights and deep shadow detail.
Premium Optics and Installation Flexibility
Designed for real-world homes, the XR10 features an impressive 17-element all-glass lens system and, for the first time in a Hisense lifestyle projector, hardware lens shift. With ±130% vertical and ±46% horizontal lens shift paired with a 0.84–2.0:1 optical zoom, users can align the image perfectly to their screen without relying on digital keystone correction that degrades image quality.
Advanced Laser Engine and AI Sensing
At its core, the XR10 uses the LPU 3.0 Digital Laser Engine and a pure RGB TriChroma triple laser light source, allowing it to exceed the BT.2020 color gamut. To make setup as seamless as possible, Hisense integrated a quad-camera system with dual Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors. This allows for rapid, AI-driven auto-focus and geometric adjustments, ensuring a perfect image even in imperfect room layouts.
Availability
Following its debut at CES 2026, the XR10 stands as the new performance leader in the Hisense lifestyle category. We expect to have this flagship model available for our customers later this year, with official pricing and finalized launch dates coming soon.

Was hoping this would be projector for me, but that throw ratio probably won’t work at over 16 ft from the screen in a separate projector room. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems like these companies are only interested in weird lifestyle projectors that look like box heaters that sit beside your couch or on a coffee table. I hope I am wrong.

What are the dimensions of the XR 10?
