Overview
Projector Screen Paint - Radiant White-Gallon G001
Radiant White
A brilliant, color-enhancing white projection coating that delivers stellar clarity, contrast and razor-sharp definition — while looking like a clean, plain wall when the projector is off.
A Bright White Screen That Disappears Into the Room
Paint On Screen Radiant White is a brilliant white, color-enhancing formulation that provides stellar clarity, contrast and razor definition to any projected image.
It is the choice for those who want their screen to look like a plain wall without compromising on high-end performance.
With a 1.2 gain and wide 150-degree viewing cone, Radiant White produces a bright, natural image with excellent visibility from virtually every seat in the room.
Key Features
No Fixed Screen Size. No Fixed Aspect Ratio.
One of the biggest advantages of a painted projection screen is freedom from predetermined screen dimensions.
Create the projection surface that fits your room instead of designing your room around the screen.
Create 4:3, 16:9, 1.78:1, 1.85:1, 2.35:1 CinemaScope or other custom formats. Paint only the desired image area and add a border, or coat a larger section of wall for a clean borderless installation.
Made for High-Resolution Projection
Radiant White is formulated specifically as a projection surface rather than conventional wall paint.
Its 1.2 gain and wide viewing cone deliver an evenly lit image that holds up across wide seating arrangements.
The color-enhancing white base is designed to maintain pixel definition, uniformity and color accuracy while minimizing unwanted color shift.
One Screen Paint. Countless Applications.
Residential
Dedicated home theaters, living rooms, media rooms, gaming rooms, sports viewing areas, golf simulators and multi-purpose entertainment spaces.
Commercial
Schools, conference rooms, houses of worship, hotels, restaurants, sports bars, convention centers, stages, training facilities, simulation environments and digital signage.
Why Choose a Painted Projection Screen?
A permanently painted projection surface remains rigid and flat.
Unlike a retractable screen, there is no flexible material that can develop waves, wrinkles or changes in tension over time.
If the screen becomes permanently marked, scratched or damaged, the projection area can simply be recoated rather than replacing an entire screen assembly.
Simple Roll or Spray Application
Radiant White can be rolled or sprayed onto a clean, properly prepared surface.
For the sharpest projected image, the underlying surface should be as smooth and defect-free as possible.
Recommended Application
Depending on the condition and porosity of the underlying surface, additional coats may be required.
Fresh drywall, stucco, masonry and other porous surfaces may require additional surface preparation or coating.
For best results, apply when the ambient temperature is above 50°F (10°C), relative humidity is 85% or less and the moisture content of the screen surface is below 15%.
Roll Application
Use vertical roller strokes on flat surfaces and maintain a consistent wet edge.
Fully load the roller before application. Overlap each new pass by approximately 50%, and back-roll or feather each pass into the previous section.
For curved surfaces, horizontal roller strokes may be preferable. Domes and other complex surfaces are generally better suited to spray application.
Recommended: Two even coats with approximately one hour between coats.
Spray Application
Radiant White can also be applied using a standard airless latex sprayer.
Spray Tip: 415, 417, 515 or 517
Pressure: Approximately 2,000–3,000 PSI
Finished Dry Thickness: Approximately 3–4 mils
When spraying the screen coating, applying the primer using a similar spray method can help create a consistent underlying surface.
Surface Preparation
Paint On Screen can be applied to many smooth surfaces, but the quality of the underlying surface directly affects the quality of the projected image.
The smoother and more uniform the finished surface, the sharper the projected image can appear.
Easy Maintenance
Radiant White creates a permanent projection surface that can be wiped clean when necessary.
If the screen becomes permanently marked, scratched or scuffed, the affected area can be recoated to restore the projection surface. This makes a painted screen particularly useful in high-traffic residential, educational and commercial environments.

Projector Screen Paint - Leveling Primer - Gallon
Leveling Primer
The recommended first step for Paint On Screen installations over drywall, wood, masonry or any surface that is not perfectly smooth.
A Smoother Surface. A Sharper Image.
Paint On Screen Leveling Primer is recommended for all Paint On Screen installations applied over drywall, wood, masonry or any surface that is not perfectly smooth.
This primer helps remove surface texture and improve final image quality — because the smoother the surface under your screen coating, the sharper the projected image can appear.
Depending on your wall surface, you may need to sand before and after applying Leveling Primer to further smooth textured walls.
Key Features
Why Surface Texture Matters
A projector reveals every bump, seam and roller texture on the wall — and those imperfections can show up in the projected image.
Leveling Primer helps fill and smooth minor surface texture so your projection coating goes on over a flatter, more uniform base.
For textured walls, sand, prime, and sand again as needed until the surface is as smooth as possible.
Where to Use Leveling Primer
Recommended Surfaces
Drywall, wood, masonry and any surface that is not perfectly smooth — including fresh drywall and previously painted walls with roller texture.
Use With
Radiant White, Digital Theater White, S1 Screen, S1 Ultimate Contrast, 3D4K, Edge, Black, Color Match and other Paint On Screen projection coatings.
Simple Roll or Spray Application
Leveling Primer can be rolled or sprayed onto a clean, properly prepared surface.
If you plan to spray your Paint On Screen coating, spray the primer in the same manner to create a consistent underlying surface.
Recommended Application
For best results, apply when the ambient temperature is above 50°F (10°C), relative humidity is 85% or less and the moisture content of the screen surface is below 15%.
Roll Application
Use vertical roller strokes on flat surfaces and maintain a consistent wet edge.
Fully load the roller before application. Overlap each new pass by approximately 50%, and back-roll or feather each pass into the previous section.
For curved surfaces, horizontal roller strokes may be preferable. Domes and other complex surfaces are generally better suited to spray application.
Tip: Replace the roller cover for each coat to avoid streaking or roller marks.
Spray Application
Leveling Primer can also be applied using a standard airless latex sprayer.
Spray Tip: 415, 417, 515 or 517
Pressure: Approximately 2,000–3,000 PSI
Finished Dry Thickness: Approximately 3–4 mils
When spraying the screen coating, applying the primer using a similar spray method can help create a consistent underlying surface.
