While the product descriptions for each item may seem different they reflect the marketing intended for that specific channel, but the projectors are identical.
According to LG, they are the exact same projector; same lumens, contrast ratio, throw distance, tv tuner, included apps, etc.
You may see some content published online that states the HU85LS may not have a TV tuner; that is not the case in the USA.
You may also see some content published online from various comparison websites that contain incorrect information regarding the differences between the units, such as detailing different throw ratios, images sizes and more. That too is not the case and LG has confirmed these units are optically and functionally identical.
