Sony has just introduced its latest lineup of 4K TVs, offering sizes ranging from a compact 43 inches to an pretty large 85 inches. This new collection includes LED, OLED, and Mini LED variations, showcasing Sony's brightest 4K TV yet released.

In an effort to streamline the selection process for consumers, Sony is introducing a refreshed and simple naming scheme prominently featuring its well-known Bravia branding. At the top is the Bravia 9 Mini LED, followed by the Bravia 8 OLED and Bravia 7 Mini LED, with the entry-level Bravia 3 LED rounding out the series.

Accompanying these newly announced big screen televisions are three models carried over from the 2023 lineup. This includes the versatile X90L QLED, the compact A90K OLED, and the top of the line, luxurious A95L OLED.

While preorders are currently available for the Bravia 3 and Bravia 7 4K TVs, those interested in the Bravia 8 and Bravia 9 will need to wait a bit longer as preorders for these models have not yet begun. But if you subscribe to our email list below, you'll be among the first to be notified when they do go on sale.

The prices for these new big screen TVs will range from $600 for the entry-level variant to $5,500 for the top-tier model, with cost variations based on size and specifications.

Cool New Features

The Bravia 9, 8 and 7 all employ the advanced XR Processor™. This scene recognition system meticulously analyzes each frame for optimal picture quality and enhances the realism of the image. Like with previous big screen models, all of Sony's 2024 TVs will run on the Google TV platform. This allows them to offer access to various streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and more.

Notably, the Bravia 7, 8, and 9 models will all feature a new "Voice Zoom 3" function, allowing users to adjust dialogue volume independently from other audio elements. Sony Bravia 9 Mini LED 4K TV

The Bravia 9 stands as Sony's newest flagship television, designed specifically for buyers seeking unparalleled image quality, it features the pinnacle of 4K QLED technology.
The Sony Bravia 9 lineup will feature a 65 inch, 75" and 85" TV.

Sony Bravia 8 OLED 4K TV

The Sony Bravia 8 OLED TVs are their newest mid-tier flatscreen televisions, The 2024 Sony OLED televisions feature the same fantastic contrast and black-level they are known for. However they're unable to achieve the same brightness output as the higher-end models.

These new models feature a 31% thinner design and 29% slimmer bevel compared to the A80L model from last year along with a few other upgrades.

Compared to last year's A80L model, the new Bravia 8 big screen TVs will provide an increase in peak brightness from 700 to 800 nits.

The Sony Bravia 7 is designed to to fit into the marketplace as a more affordable 4K QLED TV option as compared to the top-of-the-line Bravia 9. While Sony's Bravia 7 may not match the brightness of its flagship big screen counterpart, it still harnesses Mini LED technology to provide a high-contrast viewing experience in your home.

This new Sony 2024 flat-screen television model is poised to deliver comparable picture quality compared to last year's X95L, with the added benefit of being available in a wider range of screen sizes.

Sony Bravia 3 LED 4K TV

The 2024 Sony Bravia 3 is a more entry-level 4K TV so it doesn't have the much of the advanced technology as the higher-end Sony flatscreens. It's built to meet your basic viewing needs and the 2024 flatscreen TVs in the Bravia 3 lineup do just that.

That being said, as a Sony big screen television, the Bravia 3 series will provide a perfectly good picture that will keep the casual watcher more than satisfied. This budget friendly smart TV uses a standard direct-lit LED panel without Mini LEDs, quantum dots or local dimming.
