The JVC DLA-NP5 shares its name with the JVC DLA-RS1100 as the manufacturer offers the same projector through two different channels.
The NP5 is offered through its retail channels such as online dealers and brick & mortar stores, while the RS1100 is offered through installers and integrators. Many electronics manufacturers prefer to offer the same product by two different names so that they are able to understand the product’s reach within the two distinct markets.
As JVC is paving the way for the new DLA-NZ500/RS1200, the NP5 and RS1100 are now both being offered through their retail channels – that’s us 😊
The only difference between the RS1100 is that the NP5 has a black lens ring and the RS1100 has a gold lens ring. That’s it! Internally they are the same projector – performance-wise they are the same projector. And yes, they come with all the same features and warranty.
