In 2022 Denon released a series of new home theater receivers including the Denon AVR-X3800H, AVR-X2800H, AVR-X4800H and their flagship model the 15.4 channel 8K Denon AVR-A1H. Now at the end of 2023, Denon has released their newest A/V receiver, the Denon AVR-X6800H.

The AVR-X6800H replaces the discontinued AVR-X6700H which was the world's first 8K receiver. The new X6800H takes all of the best features from the older X6700H model but also adds a number of new features found on the models from last year's release. All of this allows the AVR-X6800H to fully cover even larger living spaces in mind-blowing 3D audio that absorbs you into what ever content you're enjoying. With HEOS® Built-in, you can easily and wirelessly stream your favorite music.

The AVR-X6800H doesn't just handle sound it also sports some impressive features on the visual side of things. All of the HDMI inputs and outputs support 8K video.

There’s also ARC and eARC connectivity available on one of the HDMI outputs.

This brand new model also comes with HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR pass-through. With this many options you'll never need to worry about your video compatibility or picture quality.
