So...I installed the replacement projector, turned it on, and NO focus/lens issues and everything else looked pretty darn good too. Love it! You know, I've demo'd a Sony full 4k 665 in a light controlled environment on what appeared to be a black diamond screen and this JVC X750 still pounces on it on a white screen in terms of contrast. Fantastic picture and good sound. The only issue I have is the built in Netflix app not being able to work. However, you can bypass that with a Chromecast or Roku stick. There are worse issues to have with the projector than that. But overall it is a lives up to the praise I read before purchasing.

JVC PK-AG3G 3D RF Active Shutter Glasses

I've had other 3D glasses for my Epson 3800 projector but got these glasses after I bought my JVC projector. I give them five starts because I received them in excellent condition and they work as intended. They fit OK over my eyeglasses but could be extended a little more. And the power button could protrude a little instead of being flush with the frame. But those are minor points for excellent 3D glasses.
