So...I installed the replacement projector, turned it on, and NO focus/lens issues and everything else looked pretty darn good too. Love it! You know, I've demo'd a Sony full 4k 665 in a light controlled environment on what appeared to be a black diamond screen and this JVC X750 still pounces on it on a white screen in terms of contrast. At first it seemed ok in the daytime but after playing with the settings on the projector it looked great. Night its just another level. I found putting it together to be easy.
