I decided to pair this screen with my Formovie Theatre projector and I am glad I did. I noticed the screen came in well packaged. The screen was easy to set up and mount. The two biggest cons I noticed were that the instructions the screen comes with are a bit incorrect so I just recommend you watch the projectorscreen.com video set up to get an idea how to build the screen properly. The other con was that the mounting anchors that come with the screen are unfortunately not the correct anchors to use for drywall even though they have mentioned they are drywall anchors in the instructions. I was lucky I already had dry wall anchors from Lowes to install the screen however, if you do not have them at home you will need to make a quick stop to the hardware store to pickup some dry wall anchors. Otherwise great screen with easy setup and installation.

I ordered the Spectra Projection Vantage 140" UST ALR CLR to go along with my Epson LS800. I was very impressed with the overall packaging. The instructions were fantastic. It's basically a video that you watch on your smartphone. You can pause, replay, rewind each step and go at your own pace which makes installation super easy. You will definitely need 2 people though and a large wide open room. The installation went smooth but took longer than I thought. You should allocate at least 2 hours. My biggest concern regarding the installation was how to hang it on the wall and get it leveled. To my delight, there are 2 very unique hanging brackets that come with the screen. What makes them unique is the instructions actually tell you exactly where to hang them and there is a small screw on there back which helps level the screen AFTER its on the wall-genius! Once on the wall, I started some initial calibration. I was a little concerned initially knowing that screens over 120" are "fused" together. In certain light, this fusion point can be noticeable. For me, I can definitely see the line when I am up close, but when viewing from a distance, it it not noticeable at all to me. This is in a room with full LED overhead lighting and large open windows (office setting). I am still working to get my picture calibrated just right but that is a projector issue not a screen issue. All in all, happy with the purchase.

First of all projector itself is excellent Clarity. Projecting on to this Vantage screen is totally a game changer, we were projecting on a white wall for few weeks and it was great at night, the moment when screen is hooked to the wall and movie is projected onto a screen, the image quality and clarity is impeccable and it became a giant TV with Dolby vision clarity based on content. I was able to notice minute details and colorful visuals.

Hands down, Its almost unbelievable to achieve this level of picture quality in projector world in 2024. This is no longer a projector, its a 120 inch 4K UHD TV with Dolby vision.

Was pleasantly surprised by the packaging and detailed installation instructions / videos (found on Youtube). This made the installation process much easier than I expected.
The screen itself seems to be of excellent build quality and definitely enhances my Formovie theater viewing experience. The image quality produced by the Spectra Projection Vantage screen exceeded my expectations. The ALR CLR technology worked wonders in mitigating glare and reflection, resulting in deeper blacks. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking an immersive viewing experience at home.

I bought the 120" Spectra Vantage to go with my LG UST. I love this screen. It's a great pairing and enriches the colors of the UST. The service from projectorscreen.com was really great. They can answer any questions you may have. The screen arrived via FedEx within a couple of days. It was very well-packaged and it comes with great instructions and a video you can watch that shows how to put it together and how to mount it.

Really happy with the purchase of the 120" ALR CLR projector screen. The screen was shipped within a week of placing the order and everything arrived in excellent condition. The assembly of the screen was straight forward and the light weight made mounting on the wall effortless. Did have a problem with the initial placement of the screen, but a quick adjustment with the bracket placement resolved the problem. The screen is great in a dark room and looks good with the lights on. The picture takes a significant hit when the sun shines considering i have large windows. I don't watch much tv during the day so not a real problem for me. Look forward with many hours enjoying movie night with the family.

As a screenwriter and producer who finally has the space for a projector at home, I asked the best cinematographer I know for advice. He convinced me that an UST was a far greater value than a typical projector given the cost of a laser projector and the bracing needed to hang it from the ceiling. The key, however, is to have a proper screen for the unit to throw onto, so he sent me a link to projectorscreen.com This ALR screen makes all the difference for my 4K UST projector. I was throwing onto a freshly painted white wall while waiting for the screen’s delivery, and it looked like most projectors I’ve seen in peoples’ homes. When I installed this screen, it was unbelievable: 120” of 4K beauty. Once you have the settings dialed in, you’re going to be very satisfied with your purchase. I can’t wait to screen our mini-studio’s next feature on it for investors before it’s officially released.

This screen does an amazing job blocking light from above. I have it installed in our living room with tons of ambient light and with my 2800 lumen Formovie Theatre I can comfortably watch just about anything in daylight. At night/in the dark (or light controlled room) it just makes the experience even greater! The screen handles darks so well it can confuse you into thinking you have a 120" OLED on your wall! This screen is the perfect balance of an all around screen that can be used in majority of applications to enhance your viewing experience!

Is install even worth talking about? It was simple and straightforward forward. With the help of another person to simple pick it up when needed, I had it done in less than an hour and hung on the wall.

THIS IS HOW EVERYTHING SHOULD BE MADE! 10/10 would recommend.

*Projectorscreen.com did such an amazing job consulting me as well. My rep Zach even shared personal experiences and photos. When your spending this kind of money, this is the level of customer service you expect to get. 10/10 would recommend buying here over any other retailer.

Looking at the installation manual, my first impression was this would be very complicated to set up and align with the projector. For sure it was a tad difficult but once it was ready to go, the experience was beyond ordinary. The picture clarity, even with the light on or the window open is incredible. I never imagined how I used a normal 55' TV for so long. Everything is wonderful to watch and keeps me engrossed for hours and made gaming with my PS5 super awesome with friends and family. Movies and 4k videos feel so much better to watch nowadays. Everyone I met seemed to be awestruck by it. Nothing goes better with my UST projector other than this screen that we installed ourselves. Must buy with this projector else the experience will be incomplete.

I did a lot of research on which screen to buy to go along with my LG HP715QW projector. Having come from a Da-Lite Permwall screen and an Epson 5040 standard projector, I had some concerns going to an Ultra Short Throw projector as far as setup and picture quality. In the end, setting up the Spectra Vantage screen and LG HP715QW was just as easy, if not easier, than installing the old setup and the picture is fantastic.

Assembly of the screen is a bit time consuming. It took me just over 3 hours doing it myself. This is partly because I don't really have a "mechanical" mind, so I took my time laying out the pieces and figuring out how everything went together. I like to think I saved time on installation of a standard projector by not having to run cables through the ceiling. My one wish would be to have the part numbers on the frame pieces to make identifying them easier. Buy by methodically using the instruction manual, I was able to get everything together with zero issues and no wrinkles in the screen. Now if my stand for the projector would just get here (the projector is sitting on its box in the photos.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with the screen. Thank you to Projectorscreen.com for the presale advice and making this a pleasurable transaction.

I bought the spectra 120” ALR screen for my media room. I have an interior room with no natural light. It works perfect for the space, excellent contrast, dark levels and brightness. I have it paired with a Formovie UST. Setup instructions were good, but definitely takes a few hours and helpful to have a second person. Recommend buying some toggle bolts to fix to the drywall instead of using the drywall anchors provided with the projector.

This is my first time buying and installing a projector screen. There are a lot of options out there and many reviews on YouTube as well. I appreciate that the team Projectorscreen.com has done a lot of work to help try and explain the differences between the options. Here are my thoughts on pairing this screen with an Epson LS800 Short Throw Projector.

    Pros:
-It's definitely fun to have a large 120" screen to watch movies or sports on. It transforms the room that it is in and has a large presence. When paired with a great quality soundbar, it's awesome for movies at night. Especially with older classics.

-I bought the Spectra Projection Vantage because it is reviewed to perform well during the day and we have the projector in a room that has two large windows with a lot of natural light during the day. The Epson LS800 has many calibration features that allow you to find the right settings based on what you are watching for the best color and picture quality.

-The screen construction is great quality and the materials have a nice finish. It looks like a professional home theatre. The mounting hardware is functional.

    Cons:
-It does take several hours and two people to assemble and mount the screen if you have not done it before.

-It is expensive. I spent just as much on the screen that I spent on the projector. Between the screen, projector, and soundbar, it becomes a significant investment.

-It can take several minutes to calibrate the projector to specific content each time you watch a movie. During the day the colors are not very vivid and cannot compare to a Samsung QLED 80" TV, which is a fraction of the price.

The sales team is great and recommended the right product, didn't oversell expensive items, just the right one for me. On the screen, I'm using this with my Epson LS800 UST project, it works perfect in any light condition. I have tried it in bright and dark light, the ALR is great. I would highly recommend this product. The attached image was my initial setup without any settings, and it just looks great.

I recently purchased a Formovie Theater UST and a Spectra Projection Vantage 120” UST ALR CLR Projector Screen from projectorscreen.com. I have been consistently surprised and pleased with the quality of both. I have mine set up in a light controlled room and the picture from the projector with this Spectra vantage screen is fantastic. The screen was easy to build. The picture is very bright and clear. The details are much better than I had expected. With a good quality UST paired with this fantastic ALR/CLR screen, it produces a great result. My family is very happy and has been watching a lot of movies since. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews and watching videos to learn about the projectors and various screens. When I was ready to buy, I decided to buy from projectorscreen.com because they have fantastic reviews for quality and service and I really appreciated all of their media (videos, lengthly and informative reviews of the various products, etc.). So I took a leap and bought from them. I have no complaints at all about the screen, the projector or projectorscreen.com. I honestly recommend them and completely endorse both the Formovie Theater UST and this Spectra Projection Vantage 120” UST ALR CLR Projector Screen.

We built a dedicated room in our new house for our grandkids. The room is 18’x23’x12’. In the rear of the room, we installed a loft of 5 twin beds for sleepovers. At the front of room, the addition of the Formovie Theater has made this the first room they head to when they come over. We were leaning toward a 100” screen prior to our contact with the knowledgeable people at Projectorscreen.com. After discussion with them, we chose a 120”. The size fits perfect on our 18’ wide, 12’ tall front wall. We built a stand for the projector that has 8” legs. The ultra short throw of the Theater works really well, putting the screen at a perfect height for our low seating choice without protruding out into the room. The picture quality gets many compliments. Many people mistake it for a flat screen LED. We think the Spectra screen that was recommended by your associate has a great deal to do with it. It just looks fantastic, the sharpness, colors, black levels, brightness…..Everything! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment to come for our family.

Between the provided printed instructions and the online video, putting the screen together took some time but was clear on what we needed to do. The longest part for us was mounting it on the wall, mostly determining where it would fit and would look best. Overall, we are very happy with the screen—it really helps make the theatrical experience with our Formovie projector even with the lights turned on! It is pretty awesome!

I am a person that has very high standards when it comes to the quality of what I am watching and listening to. I was wanting to find a UST that would satisfy at least the video portion. Well after looking at dozens of reviews and content I finally decided on the Formovie Theatre. I ordered it bundled with the Spectra Vantage 100” ALR Screen. I found the screen assembly to be very straight forward and got it mounted in a couple of hours. I then went through the set up of the Formovie Theatre. It took a little fine tuning but all I did was get it to fill the screen properly I left all other settings as factory settings. I then found some HDR and Dolby Vision content. The moment I saw it I was completely blown away!!!!! I was expecting it to be good, but this UST left me in awe of both the picture UHD and quality!!!! The colors are bright, vivid and just amazing!!!! This is hands down the best UST I have ever seen. Formovie Theatre, seeing is believing!!!!!

The item was packaged very well and the written instructions were clear. It was very helpful to have videos also to reference. I first assembled the screen as instructed and noticed wrinkles in the bottom right hand corner which it said could happen in the instructions. Had to disassemble and use the tighter connectors which decreased but did not fully resolve a small wrinkle in the bottom right hand corner. Very frustrating to not have a perfectly flat screen for the price paid but the wrinkle does not significantly impact the viewing experience. I was very deliberate and careful in assembly and it took 4 hours (counting the 2nd assembly) which I didn’t mind just be aware it can take a long time if you have wrinkles to clear.

The screen is beautifully framed by a thin velvet strip and looks very high end. The grey screen color looks great on the wall. Paired with my LG cinebeam projector the image is fantastic!

I have had the Formovie Theater projector over a week now and I feel like I can finally write an honest review. I am using a Spectra Vantage 120" ALR screen and it is absolutely amazing! I read hundreds of reviews regarding all different projectors and their pros/cons. I can honestly say this projector lives up to the hype! I have the screen + projector in my living so I do not have the lighting conditions completely done yet but it is still amazing even during the day. At night, its breathtaking and just straight up incredible to have the experience of watching shows and movies on a big screen in my living room. I have it connected to my Apple TV 4K through my Denon X2800H AVR and it all works perfectly. I turn on my Apple TV and it automatically turns on the AVR and the Formovie projector. I do have surround sound speakers so I can not really give much insight into the projectors speakers themselves but the few times i have used them, they sound great!

Setting up the projector was a breeze and once you get it positioned, you never want to turn it off! I read online about all of the color correction that you had to do to make it look good but I was blown away with the projector right out of the box! Without any color correction on the setting menu, I thought it was amazing! I am not the most cinemaphile or movie buff but I thought even without any correction, everything looked great. The Apple TV 4K does have a color bar that you can bring up on the screen and compare how colors looked in factory settings versus the calibration settings provided on projectorscreen.com. Projectorscreen.com settings did improve the picture but i honestly cant tell by how much. I just know it did make it slightly better but thats not to say that factory settings are unwatchable.

Depending what device/app you stream from, you do get different quality of picture. Streaming from Apple+/amazon prime video/netflix will give you much better picture quality versus streaming videos from the youtube app, even on AppleTV 4K, but thats just how it goes. It is the same quality comparison as viewing on my computer.

I have attached some pictures for you to see yourself the quality that this projector/projector screen combo can produce! I have pictures from nighttime and day time. My living has blinds on the windows and if I am watching during the day, they are closed but it's not blackout at all. I still have to order and install some better window treatments. Even on a sunny afternoon with the windows closed, the picture is great!

(please disregard the ripples in the screen.. I am planning to fix that when i have an extra set of hands to help with taking the screen down and redoing the springs so they done at the same time for equal tension all around. Even with the ripples, the picture looks incredible and i forget they are there)

(Also, there is a slight halo of light around the screen, i have read that is an issue with the these types of projectors but I also have used keystone correction a little just to get the picture to fit perfectly. I am going to have to move the projector to fix the screen and i didnt want to waste time getting the projector positioned just to move it again. I have bought but not installed large velvet theater curtains to hang around the screen to mask the halo effect and give a more movie theater type experience)

Pic 1 -  (UT vs UK football game) - no color correction, first thing i watched when i turned the projector on
Pic 2 - pre-recorded live concert on Youtube
    Pic 3 - Apple TV + show
Pic 4 - Apple TV MLS game live

Two of us spent about 3 hours assembling and wall mounting the screen and setting up the projector. More than “ some assembly required” but not difficult . The results were immediate and awesome. Vivid colors and contrast were really great

We first set up the projector to illuminate a white wall to determine the best location of the screen- very important !!

Next we assembled the screen on a flat carpeted floor to protect it during assembly. We laid out the parts first with some difficulty since they were NOT identified. Making sure the springs engaged the rods inserted into the screen edges is important and not obvious. Locating the hangers to get the screen at the right height was NOT obvious, but eventually we succeeded

I received this screen along with a ForMovie Theater laser projector. It took me two days to put it together-my fault as I was being so craegful and doing it by myself. Once hung on the wall it looks great and boy does it work. The ALR aspect of the screen is the high point of this product. I turned on the projector during the day to set it up to the screen. The image was surprisingly bright. It is nearly as good as a normal TV and at night it is spectacular. I could watch football or a movie during the day. Most ambient light is rejected. Great reflection both day and night. Worth the money. Be careful moving the screen around. A neighbor helped me hang the screen. I was wearing a watch while holding the bottom of the screen. I was wearing the glove but the buckle of the watch put a hairline 1/2 inch scratch in the bottom corner of the wcreen. You can'r see it unless really looking for it and there is no impact on the picture but it bothers me that I marred my beautiful screen. Don't wear a watch or jewelry while working with the screen. Great product!!!!

So I have this with the Formovie Projector and it works great even in the daytime. One key is setup. At first it seemed ok in the daytime but after playing with the settings on the projector it looked great. Night its just another level. I found putting it together to be easy. Also having 1in of adjustment up and down is nice.

So, I have been using an LSP9T projector on a textured grey wall for years, it is highly likely that any screen would have probably impressed me at this point. But I am very happy that I went with the 120" Spectra Vantage UST/ALR screen.

We had some friends over for the superbowl, and the first thing that half of them asked was where I got such a large TV from and how hard it was to move. So between having good projector, and getting a good screen, this was definitely a good choice if people think thae quality is good enough to confuse it as a massive TV!

After reading all the reviews, went with Formovie Theater, and have been impressed by it. I paired it with Spectra Vantage 100" screen.

I had originally selected the Formovie Fresnel screen. However, as my screen sits in a cove, I was told by Projector Screen experts that I would be better of with Spectra, and then could enjoy better viewing angles.

I was instructed to paint the sides and ceiling of the cove with light absorbing paint, which I did. Overall, very impressed with the setup.

Biggest headaches in this project were the Spectra assembly instructions, which are not great.

Printing the instructions on a letter size paper helps a bit to try to understand what the images try to convey. Another headache was figuring out how to house my existing home theater speakers.

Ended up buying two sideboards from Amazon that perfectly fit the width of the cove and modifying them (cut a hole for center speaker, cut a hole and installed metal mesh on doors, rotated doors, etc)

This is a really great screen , but beware that if you purchase anything greater than 120" - They actually need to sew additional materials to a 120" piece of screen material to get you the extra size. this leaves a seam at the bottom of the screen across the entire width , that is noticeable and not seamless!. I found this out after the fact. Its more noticeable when the screen is not in use but definitely somewhat noticeable when using it too regardless of what they will tell you if you asked..

I researched projectors on and off for the better part of November and eventually went with this Formovie Theater.

Having read though many reviews I knew what to expect with some of the limitations and annoyances that many people posted about.

In terms of my equipment to compliment the projector:

    -Using 4k Firestick.

    -AudioQuest Forest 48 HDMI.

-120" Spectra .5 ALR UST Screen.

-Dennon Reciver and Definitive Technology 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos with 2 additional Sonance in ceiling speakers.

-Built my own media console due to the center channel conundrum. (Equipment wose: console was probably the hardest thing to sort out and spent a lot of time trying to find something and never did)

The initial framing of the image was frustrating as I struggled to fill the full screen. The Spectra Screen mounting instructions were a little lacking and ended up having to remount the screen 1" higher but that's more on the screen than the projector. Like other have noted, the upper 3rd of the screen tends to be a little more blurry even with the focus correction. There are wheels on the sides of the projector that help balance the image and I leveled the projector several times to ensure a square image.

Once you get the image framed as well as you can there is a frame of light that hits the wall behind the projector that is a little annoying but it seems like that's the trade off to fill the screen. Pictured below.

I was actually pretty pleased with the picture quality of the stock selections. I don't know if it's the Spectra Screen helping it out but I have been really happy with Standard. I did calibrate the Dolby Vision to my 120" screen with .5 gain. It's just two sliders in the Dolby Vision part of the menu so very easy.

I blacked out the room but the image is still bright enough to view with the lights on or the curtains open on standard settings but personally wouldn't like trying to watch in a well lit room.

I did test the built-in sound on its own and it is much better than a traditional TV design. But as good as it is, if you are wanting it for a theater room then you should plan on upgrading your sound.

I did not have any issues with eARC with the Firestick plugged in directly or running through the receiver.

For $3k I don't think there is another projector currently on the market that can deliver the quality and features that this projector can.

All things considered, super happy with the projector and I have recommended this item to some friends who are interested.

I am new to UST Projectors, but have been following them via Brian at Projector Screen mainly on AVSForum for a couple of years. I pulled the trigger with an outstanding package deal from PS just before Christmas. Got the projector before Christmas and the screen a couple of weeks later. With the holiday chaos and planning it has taken until just now to get things squared away. The pic is a YouTube replay of the recent Falcon Heavy launch during the day (today) in a moderately well lighted room. No great pics of evening/night time HDR to show, but fear not. Everything I have seen with out-of-the-box settings so far from movies, NFL football, and even SDR news is stunning. An ATV4 and Tivo Experience Android streaming box fro my CATV service are connected directly to the AWOL. Have not used the AWOL Firestick yet. Sound is via eARC Between the AWL and Nakamichi 9.2 Shockwafe eARC soundbar. If you are on the fence with the AWOL, get off it and start enjoying one.

Bottom line: Overall we are very happy with our Spectra Vantage UST ALR screen, Formovie Theater projector and ProjectorScreens.com’s customer service.

Regarding customer service, my screen shipped out before the projector but unfortunately it was lost during transit with FedEx. ProjectorScreen.com responded to my emails quickly. Luckily they were able to ship out the replacement screen and projector at the same time so I received them together.

For reference, this is our first foray into projectors and we we are using the Spectra Vantage UST ALR screen with the Formovie projector. The projector partnered with an ALR screen is a perfect match. If you didn’t no any better you’d assume it was a tv. The picture is crisp and the colors are bright and not faded. We do have our projector setup in a basement that has one small window not facing the screen on the other side of the room. So we are able to get it very dark when viewing, but even with lights on it still looks quite good. We aren't serious gamers but PS5 games look spectacular and we have not noticed any delays. Fast moving sports look good too, but we did have to tweak the settings a bit. Our biggest complaint is calibrating the screen. Getting it to fit and line up with the screen perfectly took quite a bit of time and patience. I can’t speak too much regarding the Android/Google interface since I’m using an Apple TV on mine. The speaker sounds great. I haven’t set up my home theater receiver and speakers yet so I’m relying on the built in speaker and it honestly sounds really good. Not room filing but still very good sound overall.

Overall we are extremely happy with our decision to go with the Formovie Theater projector.

This is my first projector of any sort, so I am no guru by any means. With that said, a buddy of mine has a ceiling mounted projector that is 5 years old and this blows that one out of the water.

As expected, the picture is a little “pale” during the day but is very vivid when the room is dark. I also have a wall of windows that I can’t put shades on, so there is a good amount of light coming into the room where I have this stationed; so the fact I can still watch TV during these times shows it’s pretty bright overall.

I also don’t have a dedicated sound system and the speakers are great.

Great depth and able to provide a surround sound experience and it feels like I’m at a movie theater at only 50% volume.

Getting the Spectra Projection Vantage screen put together, mounted and getting the Formovie projector sitting just right was more of a hassle than I expected but that’s mostly due to the instructions that came with the screen and not so much the Formovie projector.

All in all, I would highly suggest for someone looking into UST’s!

After a brief wait, I received my Formovie Theater (and Spectra Projection Vantage 120” UST Screen) just in advance of the holidays. While it's only been a few weeks, my initial impressions are all very positive.

Setup of the projector was relatively quick and painless and the projector just checks all of the boxes for me:

    * It’s bright enough for a room with natural light, though the experience is certainly improved the darker you can make your space.

    * The remote and user interface is streamlined and easy to use, even without instructions.

    * The lag while in Game mode was imperceivable to me (though I’m far from a professional gamer).

If I were to offer constructive feedback to the team at Fengmi, it would be to (1) consider a rebrand (2) simplify disabling all lights on the front of the unit and (3) provide a little more instructions in the focus setup screen: I found myself wondering if I should tap left and right repeatedly or hold left and right to get into focus - and wondering why is there no up and down focus option?

This is my first projector and my first experience with an UST projector, but all I can say is that everyone who sees it is impressed and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the projector/screen combination or my purchasing experience with projectorscreen.com. This is a great projector at a great price and, aside from not having any real context for longevity/customer service, I wouldn’t hesitate to give this my full recommendation.

This projector is really the all-in-one device (affordable, insane picture quality, and sound system). Dolby vision really comes through and adds much more contrast (making blacks blacker). The projector + ALR screen with indoor lightings looks great. I was really impressed with how clear the projector looked without it be washed out much. However, the project does struggle more with natural sunlight (since the light rays just bounce everywhere). It still looks really good in bright scenes, but darker scenes struggle. I got blackout shades to help during the day. The sound system on this is out of this world. You don't even need to buy a home theater sound system with this. The bower & wilkers integrated speakers are so gooood, and it gets LOUD. So loud that my fiance won't even let me turn it up to half volume. It never crackles, and its so crisp and clear. Lastly: projectorscreens.com is legit. I never heard of them before, but their customer service is really good and responsive, and shipping is fast. I was really pleased with the whole process and would really recommend this to everyone I know.

    Things to Watch Out For:

    - Netflix doesn't work natively. Even though the projector runs on Android TV OS, Netflix requires the product be partnered with them or else the app doesn't work.

    - Need an ALR (ambient light-rejecting) screen. Basically don't spend this much money on a projector if you're not getting the screen because it makes a massive difference.

    - May require custom TV Console/stand. I had to find a really low stand for this projector so that I didn't have to mount the ALR screen super high. So I may have to make a custom tv console.

Just got the projector set up in a temporary space before moving it into our home theatre area that is being renovated. Even as it projects straight onto drywall, I was amazed at the image quality! I can't wait to see what it looks like when we move it to our Spectra Vantage screen, but in the meantime it's still an image worth bragging about. I was also surprised by how loud and full the audio sounds straight from the projector!

Again, this was good enough were I would be satisfied with it as a standalone if not using it in a dedicated home theatre space.

My biggest issue so far was the on-screen setup process gave very little instruction on the image positioning focus and angle guidelines. Some of this was intuitive, but I would have felt more comfortable with some kind of text explanation on how to optimize the projected image.

Overall very happy with the purchase and even considering getting another for my office!

The people at Projection Screen are very knowledgeable and friendly! My only complaint is that the directions could be a little clearer but once we got going, we built the screen in a couple of hours. This is my 2nd Ultra short throw tv. Last year I purchased the Hisense L9G for my basement theatre room and have been extremely happy with it. 3 months ago my 2 years old decided to throw a tantrum and throw a hot wheels at my 86" tv and break it. This left me with a decision to make about what to get to replace it. Do I buy another large tv and risk Hot wheels again or go with another Ultra short throw TV? After a few months of deliberating I chose to go with another Ultra short throw. I hopped around the internet reviewing new brands and options and came across the Foremovie Theater that rated so well. It appeared that all the experts were raving about this new brand so I decided to give it a try since the Hisense L9G was rated slightly lower than it.

I paired the Foremovie theater with what Proectorscreen.com recommended the spectra-projection-vantage-100-ust-alr-clr-projector-screen. My L9G is in a walkout basement with some ambient light but not much. The Foremovie is in a 2 story living room with lots of windows. I wasn't sure how it would compare but it was worth a shot. The ALR screens that I have don't seem to be much different. They both work well. With there being a lot of Ambient light having a good screen is a must as projecting on the wall only works well in a dark environment. I hosted a bunch of people for the Ohio State vs. Michigan Football game and they all were blown away with the performance. They couldn't believe the picture quality.

The picture in day and night is fantastic. I will say the blacks are tougher to see with Ambient light but not that big of a deal to me. The colors are super bright and accurate. I don't see a huge difference in picture quality between the two. The biggest difference btw the 2 is the sound. The Foremovie blows the L9G speakers out of the water. Which says something because the L9G I thought was pretty good. The Foremovie is just that much better.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm excited to try it out outdoors for a movie night in the summer time as it will go up to 150".

The only con I had with Formovie is their customer service is non existent. I called about a remote issue and they don't have anyone to talk to. The only communication with them is through email which took them a day to respond between reply's. Luckily projectorscreen.com has great Customer service and was able to help me with my issue immediately. Not sure why I didn't call them earlier.

I can't recommend this product more. If you're on the fence just do it. Bigger is a lot better.

As you can see from the picture this is a dedicated theater room.

I am using a Epson laser 3D 4K short throw projector for this project.

For a short throw projector it requires a special screen. For my screen I went with a 100 inch screen made by spectra projection. I chose this company because the screen was made out of very top quality material and ease of assembly. This screen in conjunction with my projector gave me the very best brightness and vivid color that a laser projector can reproduce.

I would recommend this company to anyone who wants the very best screen for their home theater.

After deciding to purchase a UST (Epson LS800) for my first projector I needed a good ALR/CLR screen and after a lot of research I settled on the Screen Vantage Projection 100" screen.

Aside from the CLR/ALR features, reviews were putting this screen at the top of the ratings with some of the deepest blacks, and I didn't want to cheap out after investing in a great projector but looking at the more expensive competitors I couldn't justify the $2-3000 price tag of the more expensive competitors as they didn't offer anything that this screen couldn't do outside of the material for the border. However, screenprojectors.com was selling this at a great price that easily saved me $700+.

I will also say customer service was amazing. After verifying my order it was on a truck the next day and arrived within 4 days (NJ to OR). It was very well packaged, no damage, and everything was well organized for easy assembly.

I assembled the screen by myself which didn't take too long and I took my time to make sure I did it right, didn't scuff the velvet frame, and didn't have any wrinkles on the first try. The longest part of the whole process was finding a 2nd person to help lift it and put it on the wall brackets.

As you can see in my picture (no filters or edits - exposure just looks different because the screen is so bright), with the lights on and with no screen present, the image was pretty washed out especially with a light above the wall.

However, once the screen was placed on the wall the image was absolutely amazing! As you can see in the image even with lights on the image pops, colors are amazing, blacks are incredible and only get better with the lights out, and I can say that between this screen and my LS800B, this is definitely a solid TV replacement and something any home theater enthusiast would love and be proud of.

If you're looking for a great screen and willing to invest in something you won't regret or need to buy again, then get the Spectra Vantage Projection screen that fits your needs!

First of all this is great screen, picture look so true 4k, crisp and clear. My little one can play with all lights on and I can still watch and picture would look pretty nice. So the screen nicely rejects ambient light. I have paired it with cinemax p1, which I was using on wall for almost 2 years. But after getting 120” spectra screen the quality has gone lot lot better. My wife and I was able to put screen easily together. It did take some time to put it together but was not difficult. The price from projectorscreen was very competitive for such a great real 4k screen. Thanks Joe, who helped me decide in getting this screen.

I recently purchased the Formovie Theater and Spectra Projection Vantage 120" UST ALR CLR Projector Screen. My wife who is my helper and I are both 77 years old, but we were able to put the screen together and hang it taking our time and working carefully. I have owned a previous Overhead projector and automated Shepherd screen but we moved and had to leave them behind. I have been monitoring UST projectors as I have a good 5.1 sound system and have waited for the technology to catch up with 4K and DolbyVision and HDR. Happily, I recently found rave reviews for the Formovie Theater and after watching multiple Youtube videos decided to take the plunge. I am delighted with the result to date. Setup for the projector was relatively straightforward and fairly easy. The colors projected are remarkably good. I have 3 LG OLED tv's in the house, 2 65 inch models and a 77 inch model recently purchased. I previously owned Pioneer Kuro Plasma sets and have always been a stickler for the best picture I could purchase. The Formovie is very close to the color and clarity I am used to with the OLED technology. I am quite delighted with the purchase. My theater room has 7 large windows on the right wall that let in bright sunlight during the day which does wash out the color significantly, but the set is still usable even during daylight hours as I like to watch football and basketball games on the big screen. Once the room is darkened, the colors and picture borders on the spectacular and a close rival to my OLED screens.
