Fixed Frame, Snap Screens with Various Framing Options

We take snap screens seriously — we get the details correct

Three different framing solutions, each tailored to a specific application, are available on our snap mounted screens. All frames are built using high-quality, aircraft grade aluminum and are hand finished with a rich, velvet Velux overlay. Our snap system is designed to perfectly align our 16K+ front or rear projection fabrics with the frame so installation is quick and easy. Image widths can vary depending on height, but all WallScreens can readily go to 19 feet 5 inches in image width.

WallScreen Deluxe is often imitated, but never equaled. The 1 ½ by 3 ¼ inch profile is engineered to excel in its primary function — perfect image surface support. The frame is ideal for absorption of stray projection light overscan and also provides a crisp, sharp edge to give the images on the screen their full due. Countless customers praise the thoughtful packaging of this screen for its intuitive and straightforward assembly, excellent bracketing for mounting, and for its exemplary fit and finish.

The perfect frame for ultra short throw (UST)

Ultra short throw projectors have unique optical light paths that require thoughtful consideration when choosing a screen surface. WallScreen UST works beautifully for ultra short throw, front or rear projection applications. At 1 ½ by 3 ¼ inches, the frame has a steep, knife-edge profile adjacent to the fabric which minimizes vignetting due to the specific angle of incidence of ultra short throw projectors. Also a great choice for use in edge blending with multiple projectors.

Firehawk G5 Perforated

FireHawk, in its fifth generation, is a flexible, front projection, screen surface engineered for use with today’s high-powered projection technology in applications involving the presence of ambient light.

Ambient light is the enemy of two-piece projection. Screens designed to reject ambient light can be effective at furnishing an image in even the brightest of rooms, but the trade-off is the presence of unwanted artifacts such as color-shift, hot-spotting, and poor off-axis viewing. Stewart Filmscreen is in the business of image fidelity, and FireHawk G5 was designed to provide the best possible trade-off between image fidelity and ambient light resistance. With improvements to uniformity and off-axis viewing, FireHawk G5 is even closer to the reference quality and image fidelity that have long been synonymous with Stewart Filmscreen.
