Elite Screens ezCinema Portable Projector Screens

Elite Screens created the ezCinema line of portable pull-up projector screens to fulfill the needs of consumers looking for an inexpensive, multi-use portable projector screen. They sure did hit the nail on the head with this series of projection screens! The ezCinema projector screen was an immediate hit amongst businesses, schools, religious organizations and individual consumers looking for an indoor or outdoor portable home theater. This series of Elite Screens offers a very affordable price, lightweight packaging, incredibly easy set-up/take-down, and convenient storage. The ezCinema projector screen uses a metal rod that is stored in the base. To set-up the projector screen, you would just unhook the latches on the rolled up screen from the base, remove the rod that was stored in the base and attach the rod to the hole in the back center of the base. You would then just pull the screen up and attach the handle in the center of the screen to the rod. Elite Screens wasn't completely satisfied with just the ezCinema screens, so they recently released the ezCinema Plus series of portable screens.

EzCinema vs. ezCinema Plus Portable Projector Screen

The main enhancement to the ezCinema Plus projection screen is Elite Screens' custom scissor-backed, adjustable, spring support. This new support serves two purposes: it provides a stronger back support to make the screen even more reliable, and the support is always connected to the screen to make setup even quicker and more efficent. The scissor-backed, spring support provides an even stronger screen support than the basic metal rod in the ezCinema base model projector screen. This scissor-backed support system has locking features in place which allows you to raise and lower the screen to your preferred height without having to adjust or tighten the supports. This creates a sturdier hold on the portable projection screen and also reduces the chance of the user damaging the screen while trying to adjust the back. The scissor-backed support is also always connected to the screen. As the screen is pulled up, the spring supports raise from the base at the same time as the screen. This completely eliminates having to store the support separately and connect it separately. The springs automatically lock in place, so you can easily adjust the screen size to whatever height you want without adjusting anything.

Screen Material

The ezCinema Plus floor-raising projector screen is made with Elite Screens versatile MaxWhite screen material. This is a woven, multi-layer material coated with a matte white compound to reflect images from the projector. The material is both flame retardant and mildew resistant. This comes with a 1.1 gain and a 160 degree viewing angle for diffusion uniformity. This means that your viewing audience doesn't have to be directly in front of the center of the screen to get good picture clarity- colors and images are equally projected so that people sitting to the left or right of the screen still see the same picture. Whether you are showing bright colors or black-and-white images, you are guaranteed to get great color contrast. This material is easy to clean with either a duster or a damp cloth with mild soap. The screen is surrounded by a 3/4" black border on the top and sides of the projector screen and an adjustable bottom rise to help mask the border and sharpen the picture.

Screen Sizes

The Elite Screens ezCinema Plus portable projector screen is available in two different aspect ratios and numerous diagonal picture sizes.

In a 4:3 aspect ratio, the screen is available in a 60", 74", 84" and 100".

In a 16:9 aspect ratio, the screen is available in 74", 84" and 100".
