Speakers can sometimes be an eyesore, detracting from the immersive experience of the screen. Ideally, movie sound, especially voice should generate from the direction of the image. Maestro allows you to place your speakers behind the screen surface with extremely minimal attenuation.

Great Screen, Questionable Remote

Purchased this to go with my JVC NX7. My room is not 100% light controlled, and has some ambient light (mostly from the rear) during the day. The screen is excellent, even during the daytime, blacks are very black. Colors are superb, with none of the typical candy chroma you often get with 4K digital. The remote is pretty disappointing. The whole get up for the remote feels like a cheap tacked on afterthought. The IR receiver just dangles on the end of a short piece of cat5 ethernet wire, and the remote itself feels pretty trashy. For $4.5, I expect a bit more. Still give it 5 starts for the stunning quality of the screen, and the ease of installation.
