2000 lumens for a projector is typically a good amount of brightness for many moderately lit settings such as meeting rooms, classrooms and living rooms. Depending on the amount of light and size of the screen you may need to pair it with an ambient light rejecting screen. You typically would want to buy a 2000 lumen projector to be used with a projector screen that's between 100 inches to 150 inches.
