I'm currently building a 16X20 theater room in the basement. I'm building to the Dolby Atmos standard. For speakers in a well above average cost, but not audiophile, they're in a sweet spot. Nice design too. I bought a complete 5.2.4, but wired for 7.2.4, Definitive Technology speaker system. It consists of: 9040 towers, 9040 CS Center, 9080 SR surrounds and 6.5 circular heights. When the components arrived I simply threw up my Denon 3700, the towers and center, not even remotely positioned and they ROCK. The bass was particularly tight! By the way Denon and Definitive are part of a company called Sound United who is also the parent company to Polk and Marantz. I'm hoping to have my room done by January 10!
